On the artistic side, the company showcases dance performances that are accessible for all audiences.
On the wellness side Full Force adds a clinical approach to rejuvenation and dynamic self-care through holistic modalities in order to enhance the personal and professional purpose of others.

Kadeem Alston-Roman

Kadeem Alston-Roman

is a holistic wellness coach and energy medicine practitioner. He uses his gifts and abilities to work with a variety of ailments that include, but not limited to: stress, headache, backache, arthritis, cancer, AIDS, depression, anxiety, insomnia and other physical and mental health issues. He has worked with varying populations at Mt. Sinai Hospital, New York University, St. Francis College, Brooklyn Friends School, Gibney Dance, Bailey’s Café, The Actors Fund Arts Center, The World Policy Institute and others. He has helped numerous people receive a complete healing from their ailments or gain an overall better quality of life. He has trained under Minister Jeffrey V. Noble of The Noble Touch as well as Master Glenn Mendoza and Master Marilag Mendoza with The Center For Pranic Healing.

His artistic merits include choreographing over 65 dance pieces in various dance genres and two Off-Broadway shows, Play The Music Softly and Alive 55+ & Kickin’, which garnered him an AUDELCO Award nomination. His work has also been showcased on CBS’ 60 Minutes and he was considered one of the “top seven emerging choreographers” in New York City by the Harkness Dance Center in May 2008. He was on faculty at Brooklyn Friends School as a dance educator and is currently a dance-teaching artist with Bailey's Cafe, Camille A. Brown & Dancers, The Joyce Theater and Lincoln Center.

He is a graduate of LaGuardia High School for Music, Art and the Performing Arts (The Fame School) and Muhlenberg College with a B.A. in Dance & Choreography.

 

Anginese Phillips

Anginese Phillips

is a licensed Creative Arts therapist (LCAT) and board certified dance/movement therapist (BC-DMT) of the American Dance Therapy Association (ADTA). She is a graduate of Pratt Institute with a Masters of Science degree in Creative Arts Therapy. She has been practicing for over 5 years, working in inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, nursing homes, foster care agencies, boys detention centers, adult day cares, and PROS outpatient services.

Along with her dance therapy profession, she has trained at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance & Dance New Amsterdam. While developing her dance technique, Anginese was able to experiment with improvisation and movement exploration in choreography. She has also worked in arts administration at many renowned dance companies, including Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, Uptown Dance Academy, Dance New Amsterdam and Dancewave. Anginese looks forward to spreading her love for dance to her community through her clinical and artistic education and creativity.
